Georgetown University Hospital presents ELNEC (End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium) SuperCore Course on April 19, 2008. This program was developed as a part of national educational initiative to improve end-of- life care in the United States. This course provides 8 modules related to end-of-life nursing care including: Palliative Nursing Care, Pain Management, Communication, Cultural Considerations, Ethical Issues, Symptom Management, Loss, Grief, and Bereavement, and Final Hours. The speakers will include nationally recognized ELNEC speakers including nurses, palliative care physicians, and a social worker. Registration forms and fee are due by March 31, 2008.
